Mariah Carey Addresses Retouched Single Cover Controversy
Mariah Carey’s single cover artwork for “You Don’t Know What to Do” was released over the weekend and it quickly had fans in a tizzy because it was obviously computer enhanced.
On the cover, an image of the singer’s face has been placed on top of a recycled photo of her body that had previously been used for the Me. I Am Mariah … the Elusive Chanteuse album artwork.
Mariah addressed the retouching controversy writing, “That definitely was NOT my selection for the cover… ugh!” And she even called upon her fans to help her come up with a replacement to the artwork. She tweeted, “Yes, I would love for you to send me your art for #YDKWTD (’cause at this point IDKWTD! lol).”
