Coming on the heels of the N78m website project, allegedly approved by the former Governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), another allegation has surfaced, concerning a bore-hole project.
News from our sources say the ex-Gov. allegedly awarded a contract worth N139m, for the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
This was revealed on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
Some other projects also posted on their site, include the approval of $14,650,000.00 for the purchase of 4 -Car Electric Multi Unit Train, which was awarded to Messrs. CCECC/CNR (JV Partners)
Other details of the Governor’s approvals include the replacement of the railings of a pedestrian bridge on Carter Bridge from Ido to Idumota with concrete railings, which cost N175m. The contract was awarded to A Abicon Engineering Limited.
Some Lagosians say though Fashola has cleared the air on the website issue, he still has some questions to answer, regarding the bore-hole contract.
