The official travel partners to the NFF failed to live to its expectations in Brazil of taking fans to watch Super Eagles play against Argentina!
Wakanow.com, official travel partners to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF reportedly left more than 600 Nigerians stranded in Sao Paulo last Wednesday. Hence, preventing fans from watching the Super Eagles’ clash against Argentina in Porto Alegre at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
According to reports, Wakanow had promised to move fans from Sao Paulo to Porto Alegre on Wednesday morning, to meet up with the game but failed to keep that promise.
A fan told reporters, “Most of us left Nigeria believing that we were going to Porto Alegre. We were surprised to be brought to Sao Paulo. Many are alleging that this has all the tell tale signs of scam.”
To make matters even worse, the travel agency allegedly purchased tickets for 50 people ONLY leaving more than 500 fans stranded. Reports say the rest of them spent sleepless night at the airport waiting for a flight which never came. Pulse
